A combination of flowers found by the side of the road at different times, this piece was influenced by Karlyn Holman. She is no longer with us, but those who were fortunate enough to have been in her sphere miss her greatly. She was an amazing teacher of watercolour, generous and full of good humour.

Karlyn was fond of encouraging us to surmount struggles we encountered.

"Get over it" was her motto... I say it out loud as a matter of habit now.
