My great granddaughter thought we should dress up to go to town. She tried on every hat, scarf and pair of shoes in my closet before she decided that this was the correct ensemble.

We went to town just like that.

I try to live right there in each of those moments. In about 2 minutes she will be a teenager and this will all be just something I hold in my heart.
