DINNER THEATRE

DINNER THEATRE.jpeg

One long winter, a group of friends got together and decided to shorten the winter by organizing and performing a dinner theatre for our community. We chose a poem by our great Canadian poet, Robert W. Service who wrote many ballads, often comical, depicting life in the Yukon during the gold rush days.

My husband played "One of the boys whooping it up in the Malamute Saloon" and I, a saloon girl sitting on his lap at a table with a glass half full of 'apple juice'... or so I thought. I discovered the error of my thinking in the middle of the performance. What you see here is a veiled threat!

A good time was had by all.
