Elder, Grandmother, fellow activist and dear friend, Alma is many things to many people. As a champion of her people she works tirelessly to revive and preserve her culture in all its dimensions.

 

Alma is the penultimate teacher, sharing her wisdom about life in all its forms and how we are all inextricably connected to every other living thing in the plant,animal and human realms. She has taught me much about walking gently upon our MotherEarth.
